The Schwinn Wayfarer bicycle is commuter bike that is great for beginners, seniors, and casual bikers. It has a retro vintage design that's very classy and elegant. Most user say that the Schwinn Wayfarer Bicycle has an easy and smooth shifting from the 7-speed system. It also offers a stable and comfortable ride that is smooth and just like gliding through the road.

AMD Custom Bikes

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) a semiconductor company based in California is venturing to bicycle business by launching two (2) custom bikes as part of its online Fan Store .

Enjoy going to work or commuting via bicycle around your neighborhood using an AMD cruiser or mountain bike. They cost $299 each, however you need to add $50 for shipping and more than $30 in tax. Both bikes have Advanced Micro Devices branding, and equipped with 18.5-inch steel frame, and 26-inch alloy wheels.


The Custom AMD Cruiser Bikes is made for people who ride around the streets. It has a bobtail fenders and a double spring saddle for riding comfort.


The Custom AMD Mountain Bikes is designed for fun and comfortable transportation. It featuers 21-speed, twist grip Shimano index shifting, linear pull MTB brakes, dual suspension frame, and a comfortable Mountain bike saddle. It is also equipped with kickstand, 18.5” Custom Design Steel Dual Suspension Frame, 21 Speed Shimano Rear Derailleur, Twist Grip Shifters, 3 Piece Crank, Linear Brakes front and rear, Alloy brake levers.

These bikes are currently available only in the US; there is no word on an international release.

Razor Escooters New Models

Razor an electric scooter company based in California has unveiled three (3) new models for their escooter lineup: EcoSmart SUP, E300 HD, and C25.

EcoSmart SUP Electric Scooter - it's similar to their "EcoSmart Metro" but it has no bicycle seat. It has a wide deck so you can ride comfortably. It also has 16” (406 mm) pneumatic front and rear tube tires for smooth ride. It is powered by a 350W motor that can reach up to 15.5 mph (25 km/h) and travel up to 12 miles (19 km) on a single charge and up to 60 minutes of continuous use. The speed is controlled using a twist-grip throttle and weighs 63 lbs (28.51 kg). The manufacturer suggested retail price is $450.

Razor C25 - which is still the working name sports a much smaller wheel area 12″ solid tire upfront. This is designed for people who uses the public transportation since it is highly portable since it has smaller wheel size and additional folding mechanism. It is also very durable. It has a front and rear lights, it also has a cool digital dashboard. It is powered by a 250W hub motor and can reach the speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h), however its range is only 11.25 miles (18 km). It will have two version, (G2) 36V Li-ion battery which cost $399 and a lead-acid battery version (G3). The G2 scooter will be available with a 36V Li-ion battery in October for US$400 it weighs 30 lbs, while a lead-acid battery version will be available next year and it weighs 40 lbs.

        
Razor E300 - they have updated their bestselling electric scooter with a 250W hub drive motor. This is a very stylish scooter that can be used for recreation. It is equipped with a 9″ air-filled tire on the front and an 8″ solid tire on the rear. The acceleration is controlled with a twist-grip. It also has a hand-operated rear drum break. It weighs 43lbs (19.5kg), has a top speed of 15 mph. The manufacturer suggested retail price is $280.

Ride1Up 500 is one of the favorite e-bike because of its affordability and they released a new frame design. They have reveiled the new Ride1Up 500 Series Step-Thru model which you can pre-order for $1,195 and the estimated shipping date is August 10th.

The Ride1Up 500 Series Step-Thru model was just unveiled and has opened for pre-orders at $1,195, with shipping expected to begin in approximately six weeks. Improvements made are tires, display, and gearing.  It also feature a rounded handlebars designed for cruising. It can go up to 28 mph with its 624Wh battery pack powered by a 500W rear hub motor, front suspension, and an LCD display. Transmission is a 7-speed Shimano. It uses Tektro Aires mechanical disc brakes for safety. Pedals is made of alloy and the tires are puncture-resistant Kenda tires.

 With people steering clear from public transit and other opting for healthier commute due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic finding a bike is a bit challenging. Also because of the quarantine, sports and health clubs are closed, sports seasons were cancelled and children were kept home from school.

According to a Walmart executive, bicycle sales have been stronger because of warm weather. “We have been enjoying serving customers with their bike and bike accessory needs throughout these difficult times,” Reid Thornton, Walmart senior buying manager-wheels, said in an email. “Our customers want to get outside of the house and exercise and enjoy sunshine with the entire family.”

Adding to the problems is the closing down of Asian supply chain for more than two months which many U.S. retailers rely on. Nothing was being produced or shipped or anything. People wants outdoor activities to fight off the boredome of stay-at-home orders.
