How many times have you suffered flat tires? Yes, it's not fun this why Tokyo-based tire company Bridgestone wants to make flat tires a thing of the past with their air-free tires. Instead of air, the new tires support the rider’s weight using thermoplastic resin spokes that stretch along the inner sides of the wheel. With airless tires, you never have to worry about your tires leaking because--you knew this was coming--non-pneumatic tires have no air to leak.
All of the materials used in the airless tires can be recycled, the tires is expected to be available to the public in 2019.
